How to Qualify

To qualify for CAIBL, candidates must demonstrate understanding and competence across the following domains:

Legal & Ethical AI Strategy
Understand the implications of the EU AI Act, GDPR, and relevant standards for organizational decision-making.

Risk Management
Identify and mitigate ethical, legal, and reputational risks linked to AI use in products, services, or internal systems.

Governance & Accountability
Define roles, responsibilities, and oversight mechanisms for AI within the business context.

AI Procurement & Evaluation
Make informed decisions about purchasing or deploying AI solutions — with attention to bias, transparency, and compliance.

Stakeholder Communication
Clearly communicate AI risks, benefits, and limitations to boards, regulators, clients, and the public.

Certification Process

1. Training

The candidate completes a training program tailored to the intersection of AI, ethics, law, and business leadership.

2. Examination

The candidate passes an exam assessing their ability to apply responsible AI principles in real-world business scenarios.

3. Certification

Upon passing the exam, the CAIBL certificate is awarded as proof of strategic competence in responsible AI leadership.

4. Stay Certified

Certification is valid for 3 years. Renewal is possible through ongoing education or reassessment at the end of the term.
